We started out by introducing the letter of the week L.L for Leprechaun.We talked about other L words.We are doing all this red today.I decorated the bench with red shirt and towel.I hung streamers which the kids were really excited to see.
Gross Motor: running through the streamers.
They still don't know if it was me or the Leprechaun.
I looked around the house for little things that were red.The kids found the tray and immediately there imagination took over and they were in a kitchen making us food.We played what is missing.The kids looked at the tray and then took an item and they had to find what was missing.
They took the little book and pretended it was the menu.
Fine motor:The kids took the magnetic letters and out it in and out of the bag and we talked about each letter.
Snack:apple smiles with apple slices and peanut butter and marshmallows.
The kids made a book of colors.They colored red things that we had seen.The kids made and egg shaker for the baby but they shook it too close to his face and he got scared it was funny but sad.They really do love that little guy.
